According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) concluded between the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security and the Ministry of Labor and Employment of the Republic of Korea, under the Employment Permit System (EPS), the selection of candidates for sending Nepali citizens to the Republic of Korea as workers in ship building companies In order to conduct the Korean language test, eligible Nepali citizens who are interested in joining the test program received from HRD Service of Korea are invited to register the application form based on the following details.

Exam Application Fee: US Dollar 28 (NRS 3670)

a) Language Test (EPS-TOPIK, UBT Language Test, 1st Round):
a. Ship Building:- Starts from 2080 Ashwin 01 ( 2023 September 18)
Exam Center & Exam time details: pubilshed on 2080 Bhadra 08 ( 2023 August 25)

Eligibility of Applicant :-
Nepalese citizen of
b) The age of 18 years and not exceeding 39 years, i.e. the date of birth of the concerned candidate should be between August 06, 1983 to August 05, 2005 (accordingly V. No. 2040 Shravan 21 to 2062 Shravan 21).
c) Not having been convicted of any criminal charges.
d) Having been involved in illegal activities in the Republic of Korea or staying illegally and not being sent back from Korea.
e) Government of Nepal has not stopped going to other countries.
f) Stayed in Korea for less than five years on E-9 and E-9-1 visas.
Field of application: – Ship building sector.
A) Based on the scores obtained in the language test (EPS-TOPIK Language Test), skill test (Skill Test) and interview, the final result of the estimated passing number of 2500 will be published in the first stage and the second stage to be listed in the roster. P.S.:- (The number of passes may increase or decrease according to the demand of workers in Korea.
b) Candidates who have passed the language test can fill the Job Application Form only after participating in the second stage Skill Test and passing the health test.

Secondly, the exam will be conducted in two phases.
b) Skill Test, 2nd Round:-
The results of the first phase language test (EPS-TOPIK, UBT Language Test) will be published after publication.
Note: Only applicants who have obtained the highest marks among those who have passed in the relevant field in the language test (EPS-TOPIK Language Test, 14 Round)
It will be included in the skill test (Skill Test, 2nd Round).
How to apply for Korean EPS TOPIK Job How to Apply Korea Job Vacancy
- Submit the designated Job Application form to the sending agency, which was appointed according to MOU concluded between Korea and sending country.
Job application period - Submit Job Application Form and necessary document within the valid term of EPS-TOPIK (2 years).
- If valid term of EPS-TOPIK (2 years) has been expired, candidate shall pass EPS-TOPIK.
- Valid term of job application : valid for 1 year from the day of approval
- If a worker could not sign the labor contract within the valid term of roster, the worker can make job application again within the valid term of EPS-TOPIK.
- Notice : Registering roster in EPS Pool does not guarantee employment in Korea because EPS is the system that employer can select workers among the registered workers in EPS pool.
